Weather Club

The year 12&13 students are running a weather club, which basically records the air pressure, maximum and minimum temperature, cloud cover and precipitation throughout the year. At the end of the year we will draw a graph representing the data recorded. As it is two different people recording every time, its basically once in three weeks,however in order to achieve accurate readings we work collaboratively in a team. We plan and iniciate this activity using a special time table.By conducting the weather and taking the readings consistently we show perseverance and commitment and as global warming is a major concern, following the weathe makes us engaged with issues of global importance. We also develop new skills by learning how to use new instruments.
