Coaching in the fitness club

For the past two-three months until the igcse and ib exams havw started a couple of others and me have been running a fitness club on the second floor of the school gym. We have divided our duties amongst three people. We had a program for abs, core muscles and weghtlifting. I concentrated on the weight lifting part, which mainly involved training the arm, shoulder and chest muscles of students. The student who were interested in this area were coached by me and the exercises I have devised were pull-up exercises, bench press and exercises with dumbells. The tactics was to do the maximum you can with three repetitions and then I gave short lectures about the diets, for example the most important aspect of weightlifting is protein in the diet, so I advised the students to eat chicken and other meat of if they wanted they could purchase gainer protein powder, which would not require them eating that much food. The club was conducted on mondays, tuesdays and sometimes wednesdays. We have observed results in some cases they were not so noticeable visually but the amount of repetitions that could be done by students has definately increased. Students liked it due to the friendly atmosphere but unfortunately due to the igcse and ib exams most of them decided to concentrate on revision and the club eventually stopped working.
The following cas objectives were met:
-Increasing awareness of my own strengths and weaknesses( in the role of a coach and in terms of understnading how to convey certain ideas to other people.)
-Undertaking new challenges ( working as a team and trying to achieve results in terms of gaining muscle of the people who attended the club.)
-Planning and iniciating activities( advertising the club and then keeping it running for several months)

-Working collaborately with each other ( dividing ares of bodybuilding amongst my fellow 'coaches')
-Showing percevierence and commitment in my activities ( giving up 2-3 lunch times a week in order to keep the club running)
-Developing new skills ( mainly communicative skills)
